Barnswell Timber have established all of the necessary working practices and procedures to enable us to sell material from sustainable forests around the world. Through annual audits, we have been found to be in conformance with the standards of the world’s two major forestry certification schemes, FSC® and PEFC.

FSC is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organisation established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Barnswell Timber have been certified as compliant with FSC and can therefore offer FSC certified material as part of our range.

PEFC’s vision is ‘A world in which people manage forests sustainably’. Barnswell Timber have been certified as compliant with PEFC’s International Chain of Custody Standard.
